Coronavirus is very easily transmitted. It was originally transmitted from animals to humans, and is mainly transmitted through droplets. Protection is key.

There has been a lot of advice given out to avoid catching Coronavirus. The first, and most important thing, is washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. An alcohol hand gel can be used, however this must be applied correctly for it to be effective. You should be washing your hands frequently throughout the day. Any sneezing and coughing should be done into your elbow, into your sleeve or into a tissue. You should then bin any tissues that may have been used, and wash your hands immediately afterwards.

Other advice includes, avoiding close contact with people who may be ill, and avoiding touching your eyes, mouth and nose. Keeping ourselves and others safe during this time is important because, as of this time, there is no treatment for Coronavirus COVID-19. So we need to be vigilant and we need to fight this together.
